
Many of you may be hearing about fasting because of the approach of the Muslim holiday of Ramadan. However, in addition to that, fasting has also been promoted in recent years as a health practice in non-religious circles.
I wanted to take some time today to share some of the benefits of fasting, whether spiritual or health related.
However, as always, practice caution. If you’re dealing with any significant health issues, or pregnancy, it’s not a good idea to fast. For any definitive medical advice, consult a doctor.
