
We’re hearing a lot more about boundaries now, but what are they? According to PsychCentral, “Personal boundaries are simply the lines we draw for ourselves in terms of our level of comfort around others.”

But boundaries can be a tricky thing to enforce, especially for women. From childhood we’re often taught to bend and mold ourselves for the comfort of others. Many women are often taught that straight up saying “no” to someone is rude, even if we have a perfectly good reason.
So how does one enforce healthy boundaries in a world where people can react badly?
